Evergreen is the most “Colorado” of the towns located within 30 minutes of Downtown Denver. It is known for its mountainous living complete with wildlife, mountain streams, a 55 area lake, biking/hiking trails, elk, and the Evergreen Old downtown which is home to many small businesses, shops, and restaurants. Evergreen hosts multiple community events throughout the year including a Winter Festival with a ski and snowboard rail jam competition, an ice bike race, and night-time fireworks. Each summer, a two-day summer rodeo comes to town in June, as well as the Evergreen Jazz Festival in July, and live music at the town lake throughout the summer as part of the concert series.
