Wallys mug“No man but feels more of a man in the world if he have a bit of ground that he can call his own.  However small it is on the surface, it is four thousand miles deep; and that is a very handsome property.”   ~Charles Dudley Warner
Originally from Kansas City, the United States Army brought me to Colorado Springs, the 4th Infantry Division at Fort Carson as a young infantry lieutenant.  I had just graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point and headed west where I fell in love with Colorado.   Although I exited the military in 1994, I made Colorado Springs my home and have been here ever since.
My first experience with real estate was in 1992 when I bought my first home.  It was a 1000 square foot townhome, and in those days I bought it for $47,000.  Times have changed!  What I do recall is that I would never have made it through that complicated process without my real estate agent.  From the initial house hunting to contract to closing, he made home buying a pleasant experience.
My career path led me to spend 13 years in the mortgage industry and assisting home buyers secure financing all over the state of Colorado.  Because of that experience, it was natural for me to transition to the real estate side of the industry.  In my years as a lender, I assisted buyers in hundreds of successful transactions and gained extensive experience in negotiation, property valuation, closings and quite honestly, what a real estate agent should NOT do.  Buyers and sellers deserve an agent with that type of experience.
Are you ready to call a property “your own”?  Perhaps you are in a position to sell or upgrade to your next dream home.  I am now in a position to assist in making your buying or selling experience what it should be.  It is my hope that you would consider allowing me to provide that professional assistance you require.
